About Paul

Paul is the consummate storyteller.  Whether he takes you on a mythical adventure into his imagination or into the midst of a true event.  He can see “something” within a piece of music, picture or object. Paul has an innate ability to share his wide knowledge base from books to animation or music to film. He is creative and can build a web of connection through colour and imagery that leads the reader on their own journey through his words.

His writings can be factual or fictional, whimsical or deadly serious.  But, whichever, he does not write for himself as much as he writes to evoke emotion and passion in another’s soul or mind.

Paul is my best friend for over 30 years. We have not only shared several homes, but also a love of travel.  His “itchy feet” have taken himself and us, on many great adventures. Paul’s idea of a grand day out is a comfortable pair of walking shoes and two or three cameras. Wherever we may be…in Europe, the Mediterranean or in our own community Paul is always seeking the obscure, the overlooked, that interesting vista, scape, marker, window, tree, presence, shadow, light, dark – a sense of place, the tie-in to all things from which he builds the relationship of the viewer to the pictures in front of them.  

I have read all that Paul writes and listened to all the stories and I am always fascinated at how he continues to shape his “chatterings” that leave me only wanting to read or hear the next.
